The seventh annual AMDA Research Grant (the 2016 Helen Walker Research Grant) was awarded to Dr. Frédéric Lofaso with the Hôpital Raymond Poincaré in France for his Project: “Acid Maltase Deficiency Myopathy Follow-Up.”

The aim of this project is to improve the quality of the clinical follow-up by adding to the tests usually performed once a year, robust innovative noninvasive and mainly non-volitional outcome measures based on diaphragmatic function, motor function tests and skeletal muscle integrity.

Congratulations Dr. Lofaso!
